Marina
At the Destin Army Recreation Area marina, you can rent pontoon boats, wave-runners and kayaks. You can launch your boat, rent slip and mooring, and store your vehicles, trailers and boats. The marina has a fuel station and a retail store. Current rates and fees can be found here or at the front desk.
Reservations: Guests staying on the property with confirmed lodging reservations may reserve marina equipment and services from 30 days to 24 hours prior to departure. To submit a marina reservation request, click here.
Charter Fishing
Our two six passenger boats are available year round for fishing charters. Your options include:
Bay Fishing, a minimum two hour trip
Near Shore State Waters, minimum four hours
In-shore Trolling, seasonal
King & Spanish Mackeral and Dolphin (Mahi), minimum four hours
Deep-Sea Bottom, minimum six hours
Extended trips and big game fishing are also available.

A deposit equal to half the cost of the trip will be secured via credit card authorization and will be charged if the reservation is not fulfilled or cancelled within 72 hours.
Marina Services
- For Sale at the Marina - Ice, beer, sodas, ice cream, beach supplies and gifts.
- Trailer/Boat Storage - Trailer storage for guests on the property is $5 per week, including a daily vessel launch fee.
- Vessel Launching - Now available only during regular marina operating hours. The cost is $8 per vessel.
- Boat Slip Rental - Protected long term and short term rental for boats and wave-runners is available. Reservations are accepted 30 days in advance.
- Fuel for Sale - Now available at marina fueling point. See staff for current price information.
- Site Fishing/Crabbing - Guests wishing to fish must have a current Florida license subject to state seasonal restrictions. A license can be obtained at www.myfwc.com. Fishing and crabbing is restricted to the pier area.
- Pet Policy - Pets on rental vessels must have a personal floatation device. Pets are not permitted on the fishing pier. Guests must clean after pets immediately.
Our Boats
Army One is a versatile 24', six passenger Triton Light Tackle Center Console fishing boat. This is a powerhouse of a shallow water rig that’s blue water ready. The 225 HP Mercury Verado gets you to the fish fast, and with one of the quietest motors ever, you can share fishing stories on the way home. Equipped with the latest in GPS and fishing finding technology, you're sure to go home with a good catch. A trolling motor makes it a great boat for fishing the shallow waters of the Destin Recreation Area. Charter fishing trips include license, tackle, bait and licensed captain.
Follow Me III is a 27’, 6 passenger Boston Whaler equipped with the latest in GPS navigation and digital fish finding technology. An air conditioned cabin and marine head make The Follow Me III perfect for a long day on the water. Outriggers make it perfect for trolling for the big game fish that travel in the waters off of Destin!

Rental Equipment Policies
- Guests must provide their military or DOD ID card, proof of completion of an approved boater's safety course and on-the-water safety brief for all equipment operators prior to reservations or rental agreement completion.
- No motorized equipment may be rented or operated by persons under 16 years old.
- Operators 22 years old and older may complete the boater's safety course and exam online at www.boatus.org/onlinecourse.
- Operators under 22 must complete the course and exam at a Florida Fishing and Wildlife Commission approved testing site or online at www.boat-ed.com/fl/index.htm.
- Guests staying on the property with lodging reservations may reserve pontoons, fishing boats and wave runners from 30 days in advance to 24 hours prior to departure.
- Reservation departures are from 8am until 10am only.
- Any equipment not reserved 24 hours prior to use is an open rental and can be reserved by any ID cardholder.
- Contact and credit card information must be provided at the time of reservation, and a deposit equal to the minimum rental time per vessel will be charged if reservation is not fulfilled.
- Cancellations must be made prior to 24 hours before requested rental time. Reservations are held for 30 minutes before being returned to open rental.
